Yeah, I have posted about tips and tricks on how to use
search engines and I also attached some search engines there. And now, I want
to talk about how make mind mapping using POPPLET. Why I want to talk about
that one?
As the candidate of English Teacher we will have so many
resources related with English learning. That’s why we have to keep the
resources on the safe place or safe document, for making us easier when we want
to create any online activities or media. Mind map can help us to solve that
case. Besides that, mind map also can be use for teaching and learning process.
Then…. What
is Mind Map?
Mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information.
A mind map is hierarchical and shows relationships among pieces of the
whole. Mind maps have many applications
in personal, family, educational, and business situations, including
notetaking, brainstorming (where in ideas are inserted into the map radially
around the center node. Besides that
mind map can be used to enhance several other applications; for instance expert
search systems, search engines and search and tag query recommender.

- Facilitate better understanding of relationships and connections between ideas and concepts
- Make it easy to communicate new ideas and thought processes

Kinds of mind map
maker
My group and I have tried to use one kind of Mind map maker,
it is Popplet. Here the steps of using Popplet. But, one thing, we can make
Popplet if our PC has Adobe Flash Player, so we can make Popplet.
How to make mind map using Popplet:
2. If you never join
to this App, you should sign in and register.
3. But if you ever join,
you just need to Login and type on your username or email and Password
4. Click make a new
popplet to start your project
5. Then you have to
type the title of your mind map and also the background color. Then, click to make
it so.
6. To start, you can
click twice on the background. Then, it will appear one box. If you want to add
the branches you just need to drag the grey and white circle around the part of
speech box. There are four little box in the part of speech box and also another
box, they are:
a) Change colors
b) Type stuff
c) Draw thing
d) Upload thing
7. In the upload bottom
you may choose some option via image, Vimeo, Youtube and
file from your computer
8. Save the popplet
if finished on setting sign. You also can export this popplet in pdf, .jpeg and
png, or you may view on presentation mode, etc.
9. Click go full
screen to make this popplet more clearly and big or you can use zoom.
10. Click the right
bottom to share your project. You can choose it by your own.
